HVNFILM001

What Have You Done Today Mervyn Day? was filmed by director Paul Kelly in the summer of 2005 on what is now London's Olympic Park. Set on the day after London's successful bid to host the games was announced, the film follows a young paperboy Mervyn (Noah Kelly) as he delivers newspapers on his bike, weaving around the various canals of the Lower Lea Valley. The area's unlikely and incredible story is told by the boy's mother (Linda Robson), grandfather (David Essex), and the real life residents of Hackney Wick and Stratford.

Written by Kevin Pearce with a soundtrack especially composed by Saint Etienne this is the original two disc version of the film (released in 2012) that includes the film itself on DVD disc one plus a CD with the complete score - 17 songs - on CD disc two.

The set comes with a beautifully illustrated 16 page booklet with an essay by Saint Etienne's Bob Stanley.

Note - this is a PAL format, region 0 disc.
It may not play on some NTSC DVD machines but should play in all computers.
Film running time 46 minutes.
